The screenshots look awesome and the info sounds great. I love build games, every one of them I have gotten are very fun. I loved the Platoon TC as well. However, many official reviews say that the games suck. Sometimes the official reviews are not true IMO (Killer7 for example - thank god I only rented that game). So, should I get them? There's no demos unfortunately...

Why don't you give a good description first of what NAM/WWIIGI exactly is and where it stand for?
Not everybody knows that so how can they vote then?

They are both war games that use the build engine. Details here and here. I have already decided I am going to get them based on what the folks at 3D Realms Forums and AMC said

A lot of people have played them Anyhoo some info really doesn't suffice on voting in this poll, you really have to have played it to form an opinion. (As with any other game, actually)

Nam was also released as Napalm.
Originally a free total conversion for Duke3D "Platoon 2", a sequel to the original popular Platoon, the TNT team was contacted mid-way into development by GT Interactive and eventually the mod ended up being a full game.
Platoon(1) was kinda sucky though. to me it looked like the TNT team was more into modding than actually building GOOD maps.

WWIIGI (World War 2 G.I.) was kinda cool at the time when I played it (1999). In some maps you were fighting side by side other soldiers (allies) and I think you could use a medic as an 'mobile medkit'.
